Downstream of Ximonde salmon reserve is projected a footbridge linking the provinces of Coruña and Pontevedra in the same place where the old bridge was hit by the floods of 2000. It is planned one meter above the previous board. To reach that level and maintain accessibility access is projected on both sides, in Coruña ramps are dug into the rock, making access a walk through the treetops of shoreline. The board of steel and concrete spans 50 meters through a structural solution that aims to minimally influence the landscape through the optimization of the section. The construction phase is projected without central support to not alter the normal flow of the river, the position that virtually repeats the previous one also prevents the deforestation of the riverside.
